Marc Jacobs Fragrance has teamed up with Pinterest to develop a personalized holiday digital campaign.

To help consumers find their perfect gift, the Coty-owned brand has rolled out a personalized fragrance finder through the social media company.

The interactive campaign will guide Pinterest-using shoppers through questions about who they’re shopping for, including who the recipient is and what statement best describes them.

Presented with one of six Marc Jacobs fragrances, Pinners are then directed to where they can purchase the selected fragrance.

Pinners will be able to view the Fragrance Finder through Promoted Pins based on searches such as Gifts, Christmas, Xmas, Fragrance, and Fragrances.

Coty also used Pinterest’s Pin Extension advertising solution feature that allows consumers to swipe up in a regular promoted pin.

Hollie Smit, Senior Digital Manager at Coty UK, said: “Our Marc Jacobs Daisy quiz on Pinterest lets people choose a bespoke Daisy gift for loved ones (or themselves) this season, from the comfort of their living room.

Clara Mayer, Beauty Lead at Pinterest, added, “Millions of people visit Pinterest every month to find relevant and actionable beauty ideas and products.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Coty to help them inspire shoppers and beauty lovers this holiday season.”

According to Coty, 87% of people come to Pinterest when they are actively considering beauty or personal care products.

In the face of Covid-19, Marc Jacobs Fragrances was one of the first beauty brands to create a virtual event to support the launch of a new product for Perfect, according to Isabelle Bonfanti, Chief Commercial Officer, Luxury at Coty.
